Ithink you could have done better.
- Steps one step to the right to the left and look for a better position. Too bad of the piece of brown behind the jaguar-symbol. Stepping aside may have helped.
- My attention goes however first to the star and then to symbol. I don't think that this was what you wanted.

I know it is difficult with lots of cars next to each other. Success

sadly enough, two steps to my right gave me a better view, including the fat guy under a tent. The brown is the spare tire and another car is about four feet away. (which I shaded)

The best shot would have required building a new background. They do that car show several times a year, I think next time I'll try to talk the owner into moving it for me.

Bob,

My suggestion wouldn't have required moving too much.  When I shoot this type of image for a wedding, I try to use the same car as the background.  This just requires shooting from a little to the right or left of center.

This is the original, looking at the "modified" photo I think this one is better. I was trying to make the cat the primary subject and didn't see the forest for the trees.

turn the "silver" car on the left into a solid background and it might just work.

Good to see the car, however, that symbol is begging for attention. A side view. Wink
Get in close, such as macro style, don't worry about the fat guy, he'll be oof.
Nice, next time, bring a model to pose. Wink I'm serious. The owner will buy the pic.

Hey all,

Well seems as you have a typically english car time for an english man to comment. Bob this just aint screaming jag to me. Look at what you have to work with and get in close, that sexy Jag on the front with the perfect lines makes a wonderful photograph, the badges with the grill makes an abstract photo, its all there and if you have a distracting background use the curves of the car to act as the background.
