opinions on website

I had a few people tell me to streamline my website and make it more professional. This is the result. I'd like some HONEST opinions on how to make it better or what it needs.

I'm completely clueless when it comes to SEO, so any help with that would be appreciated too. Thank you all in advance Smiley

First thing I noticed was your slideshow on the main page only shows one couple. It might be a good idea to show a mix of your specialties. A bride's going to want to see a bridal on the first page, for example.

It loaded really fast for me, which is great! You don't want to lose people because they got tired of waiting for a downloaded image.

I only see 3 wedding images on your wedding page, and only 1 of them really shows me the woman's face. A potential customer is going to want to make sure you can make her face look pretty, first and foremost.

Your 'couples' page: Again, need more faces, fewer hand, feet, and far away shots.

Boudoir: I would get rid of that first image. While your client may have loved, loved, loved that image, it really focuses on her belly, which isn't where you want your potential clients focusing.

A lot of your images seem a little dark on my monitor, but I haven't calibrated for a few months.

I love your Testimonials page. Well done!

My biggest complaint is the dropdown selector for Weddings and Couples. It's disappointing to think I will get to see images and then find out I am not allowed access. It might be better to have all of these under a heading of 'client proofing'.

One thing I was left with after exiting your site was a feeling of darkness. With all the black and white and very few vibrant images, it conveys that sort of feeling. If this is your style, fine. But if you shoot full color, vibrant images, you might want to include some of them. Smiley
