I think that culturally photoshop is a verb if you're referring to digitally altering something. i.e. "Can you photoshop that pimple out?" In that case I don't capitalize it. I say this because people refer to it as "photoshopping" no matter which software or method you use.
When referencing the actual product I would capitalize it though. "I do most of my photoshopping in Lightroom, not Photoshop." would make sense to most people if they don't take too much time to think about it. 'lightrooming' or 'aperturing' just doesn't roll off the tongue as well.
