Are you implying that I am belittling, if so, you are reading me incorrectly.

As for the jeans, it something that can't be helped, the one in the air right?

Anyway, I guess, as you say, it's the way to learn.

Actually, it's the seated one. Before he corrected it, it looked like, um, she was a well-endowed male.

Yeah the one where she was leaning against the brick wall.  Jeans just do that, They sorta buckle right there.  Mine do it, everyone's do.
It was distracting though.

Mike maybe you only saw the corrected version... Benji replaced the image.  And I wasn't implying that you were belittling, per se.  I wasn't trying to pick a fight, I just didn't think the jeans thing was being picky.

I usually notice if people are nit picking at one of my images it's because there isn't a whole lot else that needs improvement. Only little details stick out, not major problems.

Right.  Only nitpicks means you did well.
I think people end up nitpicking a great image because they want to be helpful.

Dragging everyone back on topic.......

I see no problem "fixing" her pants in post I also see no problem in saying "see that bulge? see if you can fix it, it looks bad" But I say what comes to mind, usually without thinking..

I like that comment, it makes sense, so true.

Unfortunately, I did not see the original, O well.

Yeah, makes sense then.

I didn't think the original was that bad.  I am having a problem with the PS version though.  Me knowing that it has been corrected brings me to that spot everytime I look at it, and when I do I am disecting it.  I say leave it as is and stop nit picking it.

I'm sorry I said anything. Tongue

Seriously, what kinds of comments do some of you want? "Oooo....ahh...." gets old after a while, and I, for one, have come here to learn. Smiley

Remember what made this forum? NOT saying Oooo all the time.

If you can't say why you don't like something and how at least in your opinion to fix what you don't like why say it?

"The selective focus is too narrow, her chest is in focus but her face isn't"  is much better than

"She's blurry"

When you're in critique mode you tend to try to find fault with the photo. We all do it.  If you have doubts about your comment or are not sure how it will be taken, go to PM that's what its for.

Slice and dice people, thats the base for this forum but keep it constructive. If you can't teach, learn.

Great points Bob, constructive is better than nitpicky with no reason or helpful suggestions.  We all do it though.  Smiley
