Silverlake Muslins

No idea on SilverLakes, Mike.  I have some Superior brand ones that I bought from my local supply store.  They are ok, but not necessarily my favorites.  They were about $180 each new.  In the area, the generally accepted 'best' are the Denny Mfg ones; unless of course you are having custom painted ones.  They have a huge catalog and a lot of options, but better yet they are always running 50-60% sales promotions.

Anyway, I know this doesn't probably help much if you already bought one, but the Denny ones typically range from $300-$650 for a 10X20.  So if the SilverLake are of comparable quality, I'd say you did just fine.

Felt comes at the hobby store in six foot widths and here is $5 a yard. A 6x12 backdrop is $20 (I use 2 at a time, 11x12 with overlap) Not saying its better or worse, probably not as durable as the $150 ones but I've no complaints.
