Space Video Project

This is a video from David Stillman who works at Sparkfun.com. Electrical Engineering plus photography!!!! Right up my alley. Someday I want to replicate this project. In the video he has a GoPro video camera attached to a high altitude weather balloon and a bunch of sensors for various things.

I only wish the on-board camera was a bit more stable and had less barrel distortion.
Still pretty amazing though.

There's another similar video floating around somewhere on YouTube from a guy that did something similar with his son. The built the balloon and used an old iPhone for GPS.
