Sunrise on the Ocoee River

Shot this one early morning on my way to Asheville from Chattanooga.

I'm picturing a panoramic, maybe 12x24 or even more panoramic, up on the wall. Or the whole image triptyched (or quad, pented, or however many it takes) with square images up over a bed. Could be a very powerful image. It's great the way it is, but I think the 2x3 proportion makes it a little more snapshotish than it really is.

Maybe more like this?

Ooooh, yeah. I'm not sure if I like it better with the rocks on the bottom of the image or not though. Either way, looks outstanding.

I like the panorama better. Smiley

I need to get my butt out of bed really early again and go back and start shooting earlier and not stop until I can see the sun.  It was even better 10 mins before I took that photo but there wasn't a place to pull the car safely off the road.

Might be a good spot to bracket and pull the images back in a pseduo-HDR type image.
