The artist formerly know as Turbo

Hi all,
I thought i would finally get around to introducing myself. Most of you know me as Turbo but I realized later that everyone is using their names here so I changed my display name.  I found this site through a recommendation in a photography book I read. Currently I'm just a hobbyist hoping to improve my skills. I like portrait and glamor photography, and thats where I'd like to specialize eventually. Currently I'm studying electrical engineering at Arizona State University. Maybe ill Build cameras some day  Cheesy Grin I attached a picture of me I took this morning. I was having some fun with angry eyes.

Thanks Bob. This forum was mentioned in the book "Digital Photography Composition for Dummies" by Tom Clark. It was one of the first photography books I read. Amazing book for a novice.

The catchlights in the eyes are nice, but the skin color looks a little off. Too much yellow.

Hi Turbo.  ...I mean Nicholas.

I agree with John about the skin. I often agree with John on most things here as it turns out.

I think you guys are right about the yellow. I looked at it on a few different monitors. My screen really needs to be calibrated.

I know the feeling.  I work on about 4 different computers and they all look different.
