He has nice skin!!
The affects are cool.
I think he will LOVE it, and his mom will share a different one with her friends.
Excellent work as usual.
Nit-pick....It bugs me that the drum sticks are opposite of eachother.
I keep looking for the tip of the one furthest from him, but its not there.
Again, thats nit-picking.

I wonder about the "Not sitting up tall"

I like it a lot.
Drumstick don't bother me.  The different reflections in the glasses does.  To me it gives a lopsided look because one is bolder than the other, but that could just be me.
Well done anyway, your work is always creative.

Thanks Gin, but I'm not very creative, just observant.  When I see something I like, I either get a copy or make a mental note.  I have even resorted to drawing the idea on a piece of paper for later use. 

I mentioned the drumsticks to him and he said he "always" holds them like this, so who am I to tell him any different!

Yeah I thought the drumsticks looked natural, but yeah I wouldn't know, I don't play drums.

And being observant and using ideas well is creative.  I even think copying is creative.  Seeing something done well and trying to reproduce it yourself is smart.

he's not a rock drummer, those are marching band sticks. They SHOULD be that way because thats the way he carries them at parade rest. one is being held correctly the other will be picked up by his other hand as he begins to move. (its cool how it all works)

I think the shot is nailed. (the light on his left lens is iffy but not sure it would look better without it)

I was the highschool marching band drum major and never noticed that.
I dont care how he holds them in the band, it bugs me in this photo!  Big Grin

Well . . . let's see . . .

The sticks look perfectly natural to anyone who has played the drums (or hung out with drummers).  In this case, his slouch(sp?) doesn't seem add anything to the image.  It doesn't come across as attitude, which it seems is what you want.  It just comes across as bad posture.

I also think that the reflections in the glasses are just distracting.  Even after several viewings, I have a difficult time pulling my eyes from them and onto the rest of the image.

I do, however, think that he will like it (I have spent A LOT of time around drummers!) and that is really the most important issue.
