Totally OT from photography, but I take a big part in a training program where I work. As part of this, we do periodic 'career planning' reviews and goal setting with all the employees. The committee I'm on commits (along with some mentors) to helping the 'apprentices' meet their goals and we also schedule follow-up meetings to track the progress, remedy any systemic shortcomings, and set new goals if needed. I can track all this in Outlook, but my Outlook lists and reminders are already ridiculous, annoying, and sometimes overlooked. I would like a program that is based on a calendar, but that could incorporate a database that includes names, their goals, and their levels (pay or skill or whatever). It would need to generate reminders, help track progress, and be easy to use for an administrator to enter information and keep up on the dates and appointments.
Maybe this could be a project? Maybe this is too simple?
