I put the ball on the floor and photographed it alone (it was stationary.) Then I selected it, went to Filter>Blur>Radial, "10" and checked Spin, then I added it to the image of Caleb laying on the floor in the exact position and size I wanted it.
Very well done... I know nothing about baisball, but is that digital motion blur rotating in the right axis? I would expect it to rotate in a different axis judging by the position of the hand...

Something was bothering me, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I think it's the rotation of the ball. Wouldn't it be going end over end instead of spinning? His hand isn't in a position of throwing a curveball.
Cool shot either way. I'd bet the next baseball player you shoot will ask for the same image.
