Bob,

These are nice . . . but (don't you hate that word!) can I ask what you are shooting with?  It seems to me that these (and some of your other images) could use a sizable saturation bump.  It may be post processing or your camera or camera setting, but these lack the punch that I would like to see in images like these.

both were shot with a D200/Sigma 50-500 f4-6.3
Post with rawshooter 8bit / then CS2

I'll go back to the RAW files and see if the saturation loss is in my conversions.
The cat was shot through the bars which softens a bit but the bird was sharp when I started.
