I was all, ooooo, until I saw the price. Tongue

So cute, though.

I wonder if magnetic snap pockets would mess with your datacard.

Ok, so I wouldn't go with the pink Cheesy Grin  But I do like the idea of a camera bag that doesn't look like a camera bag.  I would think it wouldn't be as likely to get stolen out of your car or pulled off your shoulder.

Yup. I love the slim design. It's not too wide like most camera bags.

Hmmmmm.... wonder if I could make my own!

Ryan, they have some "manly" bags at HCE. They look like old style leather travel bags and look to be really well made. They start off at over $200 dollars though.

It looks like Kelly Moore will have bags for men soon too. I also like the idea of it not looking like a camera bag.

The price is steep. I am not so sure I will buy one, but I am a fan.
Maybe this will open the doors for more aesthetic camera bag designs. The one I have is fine, it's just ugly and not designed for grabbing stuff quickly while you are shooting.

oh, and I am not sure about the magnets. I just got a new purse and I picked it out because it was small but vertical and just large enough to slide my Kindle into the main pocket. However, I didn't think about all the magnet closures (it has a bunch) and they haven't seemed to affect my Kindle, cell phone or DSi. But I don't have a clue if that should have been a concern or if they are different than anything else, they all have digital memory... I don't know.

**guys, cover your eyes**

Susie, just wanted to thank you for this. In a roundabout way, I found a great site on bra sizing. Grin Found out I'm a 38F instead of a 42D. Tongue

**okay guys, back to your normal station**

I had a comment on camera bags, I think but for some reason don't remember....

I feel like you are reading my mind. I thought the same thing about making my own before I saw your comment. Plus, I had the same reaction that you did. When I first saw it I was like, "ohhhh..." then when I saw the price it changed to "whoa!"

I really do think I want to try to make one though. Brilliant idea!

What about just making a foam insert to go into an existing bag?  Seems like that would be much, much easier.

@John - I've bought all of my bags at HCE.  I just can't bring myself to buy a bag over the internet.  They're just something that I have to see and feel and can't do that with just a picture.  It's also a fun store to go into to look at lighting stuff.  Camera Co-Op is pretty good too.  I haven't been in a few years, but last time I did they had a really good collection of bags and darkroom supplies.

It would be a lot easier than making the entire bag. I just don't know if I have any bags that would be thick and strong enough for me to trust it to hold all my camera supplies. Then again, I'm not sure if I trust my sewing skills to make anything strong enough either. Hmmm... Something to look into... But that's a good idea Ryan. I hadn' though about just adding foam inserts. Smiley

Seems like I've been in both of them too often lately. I like the people that work at Co-Op better than those at HCE. If your up in Dallas stop by Arlington Camera, it worth it to see just how a camera store should look and the kind of people that should run it.
