This couple contacted me and asked if I would cover their unique wedding on the rocky craigs of Tobermory Ontario. The trip was around 3 1/2 hours for each of us - - - mine heading north - - - theirs heading west from Toronto.
We met quickly at the Inn where they were getting ready and then headed down to the lighthouse. Bystanders were in attendance without even realizing it and when they were pronounced husband and wife, a large applause sounded and a nearby tugboat roared its horn - - - quite unexpectadly to the couple. Several of the divers wanted pictures taken with the couple - so those ended up being the formal group shots. After the ceremony the 3 of us just walked around the small villiage - with the bride handing out roses from her bouquet to interested women we passed:
