Transfer decals

Not really sure where this subject should go, so move it if you can think of a better place.

I recently purchased some inkjet/clear waterslide decal paper and tried it out today. You print out your image onto the special 8 1/2" x 11" paper in your inkjet printer and let it dry. Then, you spray Krylon clear gloss spray in 3 layers to protect the ink. Once that dries (about 3 hours), then cut out your images. Soak the images in water for 45-60 seconds and slide the image off of the backing paper and onto your object. Smooth out the bubbles with a damp cloth. I put it mine on white tiles. Let that dry, about another 3 hours, and spray again with the gloss spray for better durability. Since it's a clear decal, the color of the object will show through and you can't see the edges of the paper, but they also make the decals in white. Total cost of the tile to make: about 90 cents.
