Unusual Events

I am boring, most things I shoot are weddings, so I will look for something unusual at a wedding... wish me luck.

Wish I had known about them doing that, I probably would have ventured downtown to see it. 

Those gunships are scary. The pilots are amazing. There was a hurricane a few years ago and the apache squadron from North carolina came to spend the weekend in Chattanooga. Karen (my beautiful, thin, and tan wife) and I went to watch them leave.

karen was wearing a tiny sundress and had climbed up on the hood of my jeep to get some sun while I was taking photos of the choppers.

Then I noticed all the 50cal machine guns (that happen to track whatever the pilot is watching) were trained on Karen. It was really cool in a creepy sort of way. (I didn't tell her)

It's worse, they're 30mm's.

Guy I used to work with was a crew chief in the SR-71 program in the early 80's. The blackbird pilots used to take shots of girls on the beach and in backyards sunbathing on their way back from missions flying at the edge of space. It was their idea of a good time.

It's not so much an unusual thing to photograph, but I was taking bonfire pictures at my SIL's house a year or so ago and this is what appeared in one of them.  Like a little fairy dancing in the flames .  (ok, I'm a dork, lol).

ew the hand is creepy and the fairy is cool, it reminds me of the Absinthe pixie thing.

Ok, I never even noticed the hand.  That is creepy.  I always just focus on the fairy.  But now you mention it, my eye is drawn to the hand.  I love fire.    It's so fun.
