Vintage clothing Photo session with Shannon

I was hired by a vintage clothing seller to get some **my style** photos of people in her dresses. I explained whatever pops in is what I shoot, I tend to go for drama over pretty but other than hating soft I don't know what my "style" is. She said "great!!, when can we do this?" I found makeup/hair and three models, we went to her farm Friday and had a blast.

I'm still not sure what vintage and retro mean...

Shannon (and Rocky)

Holy Wow, Gold pants!  Those can be scary-unflattering.  #5 is the best of the gold pants shots, her body is slammin in that one.
Looks like fun.  I's cool to try new styles and clothes and stuff.

#3 is really hot, especially with the "suggestive" pipe in the background, ha ha. Love the way the light hits her butt and calf muscles! Sexxxy!

#9 is really, really cool!

#11 is my favorite, mainly because of the lighting on her hair. Wow, is that perfect or what?! Grin Not sure if I care for the tear effect (was that intentional?), as this shot should be selling the clothes, not projecting an unhappy moment. But that's just my opinion. Take it or leave it. Smiley

I'm not crazy about the last 3, but that's mainly because it looks like the daylight got away from you. Wink

Bob, you just have way too much fun for one man.

That "tear" is paint on the mirror, its in all but a couple that I edited it out of.

Thanks for the comments, I have no idea how many outfits we shot but the shoot started around 3:00 and I ran out of light around 7:00. The last several of Jessica I held a flashlight on her face so auto-focus could "see" her.

I like the posing on #5, but the privacy fence background take away from it a little bit.A little more light on #13 to show the clothes and seperate her from the background and it would be a killer ad shot.

I need to find a vintage store. You've got a prop goldmine there.
