I think the last one is slightly better, but it's probably personal preference. But it has everything going for it. The colors, red and green, are complimentary and nicely saturated (not overdone at all). The "horizon" is in the perfect spot, where the red meets the green and the stamen shooting through that and curving is brilliant. The little pollen puff things on the end are so interesting and placed well in the frame. The selective focus is perfect too.
I think the last one is better as well but it is personal preference once they get to a certain level...
but that said I like the butterfly better just cause I like butterflies better..
