Wedding on the Brightest Day in History!

Oh how we struggled at this wedding.
This shot was an experiment.  Post pro includes cropping, color correcting (warming it up a touch) and adding to the sun flare that turned out a little weak.  OH yeah, and resizing and sharpening for the web.

D90? woohoo, you've got high ISO power at your advantage, don't be afraid to use it, I'm expecting some low light work from you.

Your experiment worked.

One nit, maybe you could have stepped a couple steps to your left to hide that lamp on the bride's back.

D90's not mine, a friend bought it with the intention of renting it to me for weddings to help pay for it.  But yeah, it was nice, my husband used it most of the time.  I used it for the formals only.  Looking through the images I like the colors better, I have always hated my D80 for the colors and the contrast.

The couple is right in front of a big blue garbage can... although I see what you are saying about the lamp, I might have been able to be slightly better positioned.  It doesn't bother me enough to clone out because I have a series of poses in this location and that would become time consuming.

I shot a family portrait session in this same park today and WOW what a difference!  It was raining a lot today and I was getting nervous, but the hour we shot was PERFECT, the sun was fairly low in the sky and completely diffused by clouds.  I couldn't have asked for more beautiful lighting and after the rain all the greenery looked lush and so pretty.
