What do y'all listen to while working?

Country's in my mix as well, but for some reason I can't listen to it when I'm trying to work. I usually wind up singing along and not focusing on what I'm trying to do.

I listen to nothing but country when in the car. But prefer jazz or almost any upbeat instrumental when at the computer writing code. When I'm editing photos and stuff, I prefer music that fits the photos..

I couldn't begin to tell you. I honestly listen to just about anything. I do tend to need certain types of music to match the mood I'm in though, and somtimes the type of photos I'm working on.

I have to say I don't use Pandora anymore. There is something that conflicts with certain programs. It kept causing the software I use at my job to shut down, which was annoying; but I really got scared when I got the blue screen of death once. I haven't seen that since Windows 98! I haven't used Pandora since and all my programs, both at home and work, run much better now. Just a word of caution.

As far as genres, Im all over the page from hardcore punk rock, to southern gospel, to classical to jazz back to country and everything inbetween.

I am resurrecting this old post. I was thinking about it.

I have found it helps to listen to appropriate music while editing. I am editing a fashion show so I am listening to really urban/industrial stuff right now.

When I edit bridals I have started listening to Bjork.

Boudoir images calls for techno (for some weird reason, hey it works for me).

I like it quiet, will put some techno on now and then, but, I prefer silence.

I like to listen to mellow music most of the time. A lot of piano music, and also a lot of New Age stuff like Enya. I listen to all types of music, but this seems to keep my mind in the best mood for my art and photography.

Love the wolves, especially the lighting and the close ups, beautiful.

I actually was a fan before I knew what they look like.

Funny story, when bond was just starting to perform together they were doing a song with the London philharmonic (I think) When they asked what should they wear the director was very snotty saying "You will wear black dresses as is fitting the opera"

They walked on stage that night all dressed in red, leather.

Now that's my kind of attitude.

When my husband worked for Bose (the speaker people), they had a huge flatscreen tv in the store attached to high end Bose speakers and they would play Bond videos all day. That's how I first heard about them. Listening to them on Bose speakers is amazing! (we did take advantage of his employee discount before he left, ha ha, and we bought that flatscreen when they decided to upsize it)

Doesn't matter what they wear, They SURE have an excellent sound.
I like what they did to classical, makes it more fun to listen to.

I'm sure the sound is amazing on the BOSS speakers, here we go with spelling the BOSE sounding word. Big Grin
