What do you do when your client is UGLY?

First I tried turning his head to 3/4 but that was really bad, then I tried profile and it was even worse. I finally just gave up and went home..

And if you light it differently?

Well, first, this should be a nude.  And second a nice olive oil should be applied and the set should have plenty of sage, basil, black pepper, garlic powder and salt. Finally only hot lights should be used- say around 325 degrees F.  Oh and the shoot should last about 15 min. per pound.

All things considered, it should be a tasty shoot.   Wink

I'm sure a little Gaussian Blur should smooth out the skin and then you can use some of those expensive filters and actions to perfect the image.  Next time, I would ask the model to fix their hair, though.  That will save you hours in post-processing!!

Is there a reason for hiding your face behind a camera?  Grin
