What do you think?

The dancers love them, but they're easier to please than you guys..

I like them.  The first one is beautiful, I love the motion and the clarity.
The second one would be great if two things were different.  I would have done a horizontal crop.  I hate that her feet are chopped off in the image and all the black space at the top doesn't work for me.  Women want to be seen as long and slim and so I am careful about where I crop legs and especially leaving out feet on a full length.  I also think if she had shifted her weight a little her ribs wouldn't be quite so pronounced.  It's probably not a big deal, it just distracted me.
The fourth one is difficult.  I was a dancer a lot of my life and I always remember photographers complaining when there were four of us to pose together.  I know why now that I am on the other end of the camera.  I would have tried to do more of a diamond pattern with their heads, that is, of course, if you were the one posing them.

My last comment was supposed to be about the fifth image, not the fourth.  I was distracted by the number four, oops.

Thanks Suzie!! Yes I did all the posing, for six hours

That many photos (over 400) I think I got just about every pose. [grin]

Funny on the web page, her feet are not cut off. and its the same image [shrug]

Here's a couple more.

31.0mm -- f/4.5 -- (1/125)Sec -- ISO125

175.0mm -- f/6.0 -- (1/100)Sec -- ISO100

46.0mm -- f/11.0 -- (1/160)Sec -- ISO100

Oh, I forgot to mention my lights. I used two 4' umbrellas shoot through 25' from the black backdrop touching the 9 foot ceiling, one on each side of the room. One straight flash, not modified at floor level aimed at the dancers 3' from the backdrop with flags to shade the backdrop and me. (I really needed more back light probably have to buy another strobe)

I like the second group pose you posted, it's more dynamic.

I like all of the second postings better!
The crops work better for me, and the lighting seems more dynamic.
One the first set, the first photo, I liked, but would have liked to seen more light coming in from the right. It looked like to me, that the light was from the right and then the costume blocked the light from her face.
Nice shots.
