What went wrong?

What th' heck happened to her pupils??

This is from one of my first child shoots. I was going through the shots today, seeing what I've learned over the last year, when I came across this shot. The lighting was two continuous flourescents behind white umbrellas, one to each side of her at a 45 degree angle. (I've since learned this isn't what I want to do, ha ha) But what caused these weird eyes??

You need One close and one back.
The same distance at 45 caused an Hour glass effect. It is more evident using strobes, where the middle of the face, nose, below and above would be shadowed.
You can see the effect in the eyes.

What is your exif for this shot.

I remember shooting at 400 ISO @ 2.0 @ 50th at a friend's place for a body paint shoot. 50mm 1.8
