What's your favorite lens

Had a thought looking at the Nature Rising thread a couple days ago. What is your "go-to" lens? What do you put on your camera when you first get out of the car?

For me it's a 24-70mm Sigma. With a 1.6x sensor it works out to a pretty good general range. If I'm carrying two bodies a 70-200mm goes on #2, usually with a monopod and slung over my shoulder.

Also have a 12-24mm when I need to go a little wider and a 50mm f/1.4 when I either need speed or a really shallow depth of field. Well, guess I get both at the same time Cheesy Grin

Mine's my 18-200mm. I can zoom in to catch a bird, or zoom way out for a landscape shot. It's not a fast lens, though, but I hate carrying around gear. Smiley

28-75 is what usually stays on. Also always in the bag is a 70-200, a 10-22, and a fast 50mm. The 28-75 and 70-200 are both f/2.8 lenses and sorta macro. Not as good as a true macro lens, but they will focus close. I also always keep a pair of speedlites in the bag.
