Saw this quote in a signature line on another forum.
A professional writer behaves like a professional writer long before being paid to be a professional writer
A Google search took me to
Jonathan Crossfield's site.
Now, obviously he's writing to writers. But one of the topics that comes up repeatedly on photography forums is discussion on the line between pro and non-pro. I think this quote sums up my opinion way better than I could. Sure, it's money that makes you "professional", but making money doesn't mean you act like a pro.
