When to act like a professional

Saw this quote in a signature line on another forum.

Quote
A professional writer behaves like a professional writer long before being paid to be a professional writer

A Google search took me to Jonathan Crossfield's site.

Now, obviously he's writing to writers. But one of the topics that comes up repeatedly on photography forums is discussion on the line between pro and non-pro. I think this quote sums up my opinion way better than I could. Sure, it's money that makes you "professional", but making money doesn't mean you act like a pro.

If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got.

Yep yep. Even when I'm selling my work at the farmers market, I dress as a successful woman.
