I love the pop of the dress against the black background. And the balance of the three tones in skin, dress, and background are perfect. In my opinion!
A little creepy, but well captured.

In the doll shot, is that the chair picking up light to the right of the dolls head? Or is that a backdrop, or someone sitting next to her?
Not that it matters. Something is catching light there.
I had to find something besides the subjects to focus on as not to have bad dreams.
 
Unfortunately for me, I had to look up Rod Serling. Ive been living under a rock most my life.

Um, it looks like the back ground is smooth black until right about Shannon's elbow and then there is a velvet like texture that is visible, I assume because it is picking up light.
Just a little out of uniform with the rest of the background. If that makes sense.

The entire background is black felt. What you see is where light hit it that shouldn't have. Having it to do again I would put a little more light on her from the back.

Just because you looked under the bed, only means the monster is good at hiding.

Thanks for the comments, Yeah Mike it was pouring rain, so I couldn't take all the things out of the garage I normally do to make room so we were very cramped. Shan's always "up" and a really hard worker so we had a blast.
