It seems that blogs are becoming more popular with a lot of photographers. I don't have a blog for my photography company, but I do have several on other topics. It's always been a little clunky editing online for me though. Turns out Microsoft has a free program called
Live Writer that you can run from your computer and it'll let you publish to your blog.

It works with WordPress, which is all I use, but will also work with Moveable Type, TypePad, Blogger, and a few others. What I like best is that it downloads your theme so that it looks almost the same in the program as it will on your site. There are also a couple dozen plugins to extend it. One of the ones I downloaded lets me link to a Flickr image from within Writer and it takes care of creating the image link and href for me.
One fairly big issue for me on one of my blogs is that it doesn't seem to support tagging. You can pick what category to put the post in, but I don't see a way to tag posts. So what I'm doing, for now, is publishing the post as a draft and then going online and adding tags.
