Wireless Mouse

So we moved our computer and I want to tuck tower tower over on the left side of the desk but the mouse cord won't reach, so I need to get a wireless mouse.
Some of the reviews I have read says there is lag time with the wireless kind when gaming. I assume this would affect working in Photoshop and other graphic programs as well???
Does anyone have a wireless mouse? Has it been a problem to do smooth strokes in Photoshop?

I use one with my notebook and don't have a problem.  Gaming you move the mouse around a lot, very quickly.  Not so much when editing.  Although I use a wired trackball on my desktop because I got tired of switching out batteries.  The mouse just sort of gets jumpy as the battery starts to fade.

I've used several with my laptop. The Logitech I just bought works well and has a switch on the bottom so I can save the battery.

of course there is a lag between wired and wireless. I'ts huge too. Probably a whole millisecond, Perhaps even two....

no you won't notice it.

I just bought a Microsoft 5000 mouse and I love it.  I use it at school with photoshop and have no problems.  It laged when I first installed it and I was worried but after I shut down and then started the next day it hasn't had any lag.  It also has the scroll left and right on the wheel and forward and back buttons on the sides of it.  It impressed the geeks in my programming class  Big Grin

If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got.

I use an old Kensington on my work laptop. Other than using up batteries I can't tell the difference between it and a wired mouse.
