Yeah Baby!

I am writing this from my brand new computer! 

And just to get under all of your skin I'll tell ya - Vista is pretty!

LOL, I feel like I made and educated decision about Vista, I really took the time to figure out what I should get.  And wow, it is gorgeous.  For those that have it - open a couple programs or websites and then hold down the window button (between Ctrl and Alt) and tap the tab button a couple times, WOW, cool.

I like flashy eye candy, at least to play with for a bit.

The sound thing is cool, I guess I should hook up my speakers and try it out

Photoshop is FAST, wow, I used to do a little liquify on an image, hit "ok" and then take a bathroom break, make some herbal tea, stretch for a minute and then sit down right as it was finishing up the rendering thing it does.  Now it's like instant!
3 years is WAY too long to wait to update computers.

I got it at a local computer shop that builds custom computers, I guess it usually only takes them 24 hours, but they didn't have the processor we wanted in stock, so the had to get it from there other location.
They came HIGHLY recommended.  Anyway, they have a great service and parts warranty, and now that we are customers they will service all our stuff, we took in an old computer that was fried and they are pulling all the files off the hard drive and putting them on disks for us, free.  Cool huh?  We paid a little more than if we got stuff wholesale and had someone else build it, but it's so worth it.
