Yesterday was a busy day

Yesterday was the day I finally got around to doing a few site updates that have been in the plans for a while.

First, the Start new Topic page now works correctly in FireFox when you attach more than one image.  Previously only the first attached file would actually attach to the message.  It never was an issue in IE though, so most of y'all probably didn't notice.

And the new topic page got a little bit of a face lift.  The form is wider to give more space for all the great posts we've had.  With it getting wider the icon bar was able to shrink and get reordered a little.  And, probably most importantly, the smileys moved from above the post box to the right and they're now all visible instead of that more... link that used to be there.

But the big addition is the Topic Library.  If you look up in the menu bar, just below the logo, you'll see a new option titled Library.  Clicking on that will take you to a list of topics that I have tagged to make them easier to find.  One of the downsides to forums is that the really good topics get pushed down and forgotten about as they age.  Having this library will make it easier to find the excellent stuff.

You'll also notice a Library link on the top right when you're viewing a forum.  Clicking on that link will take you to a list of all the library topics for that particular board.

Cool Ryan.  I've been noticing the changes, and I think they're all great.  Thanks for taking such good care of us.

Great updates, Ryan. I noticed the smileys immediately, and then I noticed the little star next to some of the threads, which lead me to finding out about the library. Smiley

Sarcasm, frustrating the clueless since 3000 b.c.

Just wondering... could any of these updates inadvertently changed the way (or if) EXIF data is shown?  I know Susie's asked about it a time or two, and I just posted two images that the EXIF didn't show up either.  I did what I've always done (except in workshops where I use the tags) and the EXIF isn't there.

Travis has a point, there was no exif data in the image posted in the pro critique area either.

I don't think I changed anything, but I'll look.

Should be working now.  Looks like I edited a file to update a couple things from before when the EXIF mod got added.
